This case illustrates the need for constant USDA supervision at slaughter plants, including overseeing the way animals are handled when they're moved off the truck, rather than occasional check-ins.
This story clearly demonstrates how the USDA, FDA, DEA, etc. do not always have the public interests at heart and ought to be incriminated in a court of law. The USDA has failed the public. These same Federal bureaucrats who work in different branches of our government have lost sight, and are only serving the interests of the corporate state. This recall is another wake-up call. Its time for the public to take the power back into their own hands and do the right thing.
And, school children should be encouraged of the merits of a vegetarian lifestyle, as well as how killing animals creates a society that is more mean spirited.
Thank you for your consideration.
